We have also supported various authoritive bodies within the industry to indicate to our travellers and partners our commitment to our services and operational activities will be executed within guidelines drafted by reputable organisations working towards a sustainable, ethical and collective industry standard!

Our associated Affiliations:

SATSA – South African Tourism Service Association is the leading body representing the private sector of the incoming tourism industry of Southern Africa. African Chapter are similiarly “bonded” ensuring our organisation affords credibility, integrity and stability as well as providing a financial guarantee of deposits held against the involuntary liquidation of the company.

SATIB – The leaders in Tourism Insurance & Risk Management Services with over 25 years of dedicated service to the Tourism, Hospitality & wildlife industries in Southern Africa. Our operational activities and associated clients are covered with both Public and Passenger Liability cover.

ISO 14:000 – in our efforts for ethical and good environmental management practice our team anticipate application for the ISO 14:000 compliancy in the coming 12 months. Our current practices internally offer various recycling, re-using and reducing policies and our communications to both clients, travellers and suppliers include various educational notes in bettering our touch on Africa!

THE CODE – The Tourism Child Protection Code of Conduct is an instrument of self regulation and corporate social responsibility, which provides increased protection to children from sexual exploitation in travel and tourism. African Chapter have pledged towards this cause by applying for signatory status awaiting approval.

Our team actively support any efforts in terms of charitable works done for tourism orientated partners and groups – we also communicate these across all platforms and should you wish to find out exactly what we are up to currently please add yourself to our newsletter in the bar to the right. that the bearer holds insurance issued by SATIB Insurance Brokers and certain Lloyd's of London Underwriters , which comply with the European Community Directive (90/314/EEC) and carries the following cover levels:

Public Liability - ZAR5 million / incident / occurance AND Professional Indemnity - ZAR1 million / incident / occurance

Endorsed by the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA).

*Subject to Terms & Conditions as set out in the relevant policy documents.
SATIB24 Crisis Call is a 24 hour emergency call service that manages guest related accidents and incidents.
Typical examples of emergency incidents are:
the sudden onset of potentially serious illness
an accident resulting in serious injury
an assault, rape, kidnap or other crime that threatens life or well being
exposure to blood, poisons or other hazardous materials
a fire or other natural disaster

The emergency call will be answered by a trained wilderness medical doctor who will access the situation and activate the appropriate action to be taken.
Note that this is a value-added service for which guests are
not charged
