Our personal visit to Vic Falls ensures your journey has been pre-arranged, completed and CHECKED OUT!! Rest assured you`re in good hands when travelling to the Victoria Falls with African Chapter, we ensure our services are of the highest standards.

Described by the resident tribe, as far back as the 1800`s `Mosi-oa-Tunya` OR `the Smoke that Thunders` and in more modern terms as `the greatest known curtain of falling water`, 1700m drop, Victoria Falls are a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty, and gracious grandeur on the Zambezi River, bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The saturating spray can be seen from afar, as 546 million cubic meters (at the height of the flood season) of water per minute plummet over the edge over a width of nearly two kilometers, into the deep gorge over 100 meters below. The wide basalt cliff, over which the falls thunder, transforming the Zambezi from a wide placid river to a ferocious torrent cutting through a series of dramatic gorges. Simply sensational!

Facing the Falls is another sheer wall of basalt, rising to the same height and capped by mist-soaked rain forest. A paved path along the edge of the forest provides the visitor who is prepared to brave the tremendous spray with an unparalleled series of views of the Falls and included in certain packages offered in this chapter.

A gorgeous and inspiring sight, many international and local travellers have seen the beauty and grandeur of this magnificent region - with easy transfers into Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana who would have thought such wonderful attractions lie on our doorstep!
