Quad trails in Magaliesberg:
On Offer: 1 hour quad trails, with braai from R450 per person, minimum 4 adults, (without braai R350 pp) OR Overnight Camping Adventure (rustic) with 1hour afternoon quad trail, a hearty breakfast before setting out on a 1 hour trail back to camp from R695 per person. Quad bikes used in this experience are 250cc.
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and approximately 90km from Johannesburg on the Magalies Meander, you can enjoy a 1 hour quad trail accompanied by your guide where you will cover a 20km distance of scenic landscape in the Hekpoort Valley, which is at the foot of the Cradle of Humankind. This is a great family adventure outing. The area is surrounded by wildlife sanctuaries, country hotels and guesthouses with many activities and options to complete an outdoor weekend in the country.
Quad Trails in Barberton/ Badplaas:
Rustic Overnight package including quad rental at R1925.00 per adult sharing
Eco Friendly Guided Quad Trail in Game Reserve at Badplaas, lunch, refreshments and dinner, overnight tented (structured camping) accommodation. Day 2 offers breakfast, swim at 14 streams before heading back to lodge camp for lunch and departing at leisure.
Your own tailormade package can be put together using different levels of quad trails as well as chalet accommodation.
Explore the myriad of tracks and trails available in the Barberton Mountainland. These tracks were made when pioneering spirits came to scour the Mountains looking for Gold and opening up trade routes. These tracks and trails still exist today and one of the best ways to explore them is on a quadbike! There are various routes to choose from and all skill levels are catered for.
Quad Trails in Hazyview:
- One hour quad trail is R355 per person
- Two hours quad trail R530 per person.
- Special kiddies laps also available - lots of fun!!
The tracks vary from technical to very easy, so we have something to offer the expert as well as the beginner
- 3 Day Quad Safari Trail from R 3 950-00 per person sharing(minimum 4 people). Itinerary as follows:
Day 1 - arrive at the Adventure Centre at 14h00, before departing at 14h30 for 2.5 hour Quad ride. Dinner at the overnight stop at a wonderful River Camp.
Day 2 - Start off the morning with breakfast a 08h00 before departing at 09h00 for half day quad trail. Lunch stop to recharge and refuel at 13h00 and then youre off again on another half day trail! Relax round a fire in the evening and feast on a delicious dinner, Overnight at River Camp.
Day 3 - Breakfast at the camp before setting out on your last outride at 09h00 and arrive back for departure home at 12h00.
Please note this overnight is not available on a Saturday night as the quad operator is closed on Sundays!
Quad Bike Trails run through the most scenic Sabie River Valley, winding along the Sabana River, where you will experience indigenous vegetation, mountain hills and other streams on route. The quad bike tracks vary from experienced technical routes to very easy, providing a wild adventure for the quad bike enthusiast as well as an enjoyable trail for the beginner quad riders! For overnight packages stay at Matumi log cabin overlooking one of the dams with two en-suite bedrooms equipped with two single beds each. Lounge with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove with oven, electric frying pan and microwave, veranda, lapa where one can braai or relax around the fire. Log Cabin is located in the heart of Mpumalanga on the banks of the Spekboom River, 11kms east of Lydenburg on the road to Ohrigstad and Pilgrims Rest, in a valley surrounded by rolling hills with breathtaking views. Guests are invited to picnic at the idyllic picnic spot on the banks of the Spekboom River, and even swim in the river. This is a Malaria Free Area, being a low safety risk area. After sunset, the evening is celebrated with an African campfire sundowner and a Barbeque or Braai. In the morning you wake up with a hearty breakfast and afterwards it’s back on the quad bikes for another adventurous 2 hour trail!
