Situated only 1 km from the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger National Park, is where you will find this homely lodge set on 10 hectares of tropical gardens and boast 4 private dams accommdating their guests in rondavels and Luxury self-catering houses. Relax and take in the tranquil surroundings, go on a guided safari game drive or a walking safari for the energetic or even a mountain bike safari, there is activities to suit everyones interests. This luxury 4 star lodge offers offers a great bush experience for superb value and caters for the whole family, with accommodation consisting of 31 fully serviced rondavels. The thatched roof African style rondavels are situated under shady trees and are fitted with air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, kitchenette and cable TV and wireless internet. There are also 17 excellent luxury self-catering safari houses which have a spacious lounge with satellite TV, fully equipped open plan kitchen, 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, guest bathroom, a loft with 3rd bedroom and a private wooden deck and some with outdoor showers. The houses are situated around the dam, where there is brilliant birdlife to observe. The safari houses are suitable for 4 to 10 persons. 

The lodge facilities include two swimming pools with one boasting a sunken bar alongside for pure enjoyment under the sun! The restaurant, with open kitchen, serves breakfasts, lunches and divine à la carte dinners. The special kids program offers - the kids lounge, where children have fun, watch television, play games and can eat from the kiddies menu. There is a small pet farm and playground to keep the little ones occupied!

The Spa is decorated in a real African atmosphere and will give you an excellent relaxing experience through pampering facials, pedi`s or even full body wrap or massage.

Sefapane Lodge & Safaris can organizes safaris within the Kruger National Park guided by experienced FGASA qualified guides and in special designed game viewing safari vehicles. Morning, day and evening safaris as well as the evening bush braais in the Kruger park, river safaris, bush walks and mountain-bike tours. We have day excursions to the Blyde River Canyon, an animal rehab centre and a cultural village tour. There are fishing options at the lodge dam and bird watching options on the property. The well-known 18-holes Hans Merensky Golf Course plus the centre of Phalaborwa is only a few minutes’ drive away from Sefapane Lodge.

Weddings at Sefapane is definitley an excellent choice, Why not get married in lush tropical gardens, an African style boma or on the middle of the Olifants River on a river boat? Environmental responsibility practised by Sefapane Lodge: 

• Rain water is caught in to the lodge dam and then used for the sprinkler system.
• All lights bulb’s used are energy saving bulbs.
• The lodge gives the guests the option, to limit their bed linen and towels being refreshed daily if not needed in order to save uneccesary washing to save water.
• Sefapane supports the  local suppliers and our staff make curios for the shop.`
• The Lodge grows our own vegetables and herbs which is used in their restaurant
• The Lodge has 3 young White faced Scops Owls being bred in captivity and are being housed in a holding platform for rehabilitation into the indigenous forest area of the area. They have since been released to the surrounding environment and assist with recreation of our ecosystem.

Social responsibility carried out by Sefapane Lodge:

Sefapane Lodge have started a foundation and sponsoring the Sefapane Soccer league. With this, 500 children have the opportunity to play soccer. To play without worries and food and drinks provided means a lot to these children. Soccer attracts mostly boys so that is why we are busy with also starting a netball league for girls. Besides that, Sefapane has build 2 schools in the local village and township and maintain the school and take the kids on a safari in the Kruger Park as an educational project.

Rondavels - Bed and Breakfast rate per person per night

 Standard: R650 /Deluxe: R850 / Family: R850/  Safari House: R1350

Child rate: R200 per child in a Family Rondavel and R250 in a safari house.

Self catering House - 1 to 6 people room only

Occupancy 1 to 6 people room only = per 1 night R2500/ Midweek 4 night stay R8000 /1 Week stay R14000.

Meals are at an additional cost with a la carte menu served in the restaurant for Lunch and Dinners. However there is a buffet dinner recently introduced which is R125 per head.
