Thornybush Game Reserve`s exclusive Main Lodge with stylish air-conditioned suites and extensive living areas overlooks the seasonal Monwana River. From within the suites, each with full en-suite facilities, outdoor shower and private decks, sweeping vistas can be enjoyed over the savannah and ever active water hole.

Between exciting safaris where one can be educated about the wonderful sights you experience, take a moment to browse in the intimate library and learn even more about the surroundings, or simply relax at the pool with your favourite cocktail as you bask in Africa`s glorious sunshine.

Main Lodge - luxury/family suites, both of which are significantly larger and feature private plunge pools. Thornybush Main Lodge welcomes children of all ages. A special children`s programme is prepared for your siblings during their stay.

Inzalo prides itself welcoming children of all ages at Thornybush Game Lodge and are included in the following programme.

• Children are located to specific rangers who enjoy interaction with younger guests
• They receive a complimentary children`s pack on arrival, which keeps them entertained and occupied during their stay.
• Snack packs are sent on game drives
• Drives and activities can be tailormade to suite childrens interest and attentions spans
• Walks are designed to ensure that their safety is taken into account and that they experience activities they might not normally do in the cities.
• Meal requirements and venues are provided if required by parents
• Babysitters and children minders are available

Rates

 

Rates for 2009:

R3995 per person sharing per night valid from January to December.

Family suites available for children accompanying adults. Children 0-2 years no charge, 3 to 11 years are charged 50% of adult rates and children over 12 years are charged adult rates.

Rates for 2010:

January to May 2010 & 16July to 31December:  R4443-00 pps / Children 2  - 12 yrs - R2438 per child

June to 15 July 2010: R4668-00 pps/ Children R2562-00

 

Rates includes:

• Accommodation in luxury rooms
• All meals, teas, coffees and snacks
• Dawn and Dusk safaris in open Land Rovers and Bushveld Walks

Rate excludes:

• Airport transfers except where chartered flights land at Thornybush Game Lodge

• Thornybush Reserve gate entrance fee
• Excludes premium drinks and imported brands
• Hoedspruit airport to Thornybush Game Reserve - R150 per person one way
